Crisis / Emergency Support
When a family faces an unexpected crisis, our support workers provide immediate, practical assistance to ensure children are remain safe and cared for in their home. We step in during sudden hospital admissions, serious accidents, bereavements, a parent’s terminal illness diagnosis, emergency surgeries, or any unforeseen event that temporarily prevents a parent from caring for their children. Our goal is to provide stability, reassurance, and hands-on support during times of urgent need.
This may include:
Immediate in-home support to ensure children are safe and cared for
Short-term childcare within the home environment
Maintaining routines such as meals, bedtime, and school attendance
Providing reassurance and stability for children during uncertain times
Working alongside local authorities and other agencies to ensure continuity of care
