Our Commitment to Care
Providing practical, person-centred support that helps people stay connected, confident and independent.

Adult & Older Adult Support
Manvers Family Support also provides non-regulated, person-centred support to adults and older adults who may be experiencing isolation, reduced confidence or challenges accessing everyday activities. We recognise that loneliness and disconnection can significantly impact wellbeing, and that timely, practical support can make a meaningful difference.
Our adult support services focus on companionship, community inclusion and healthy living. We support individuals to attend social groups, activities, appointments, travel abroad on holidays (not many offer this service so would like it to stand out) and hobbies, encourage participation in physical and wellbeing activities, and provide practical lifestyle support that promotes independence and confidence. Our work is guided by the individual’s interests, goals and pace, helping them feel heard, valued and connected.
We do not provide personal or clinical care, medication support or therapeutic services. Our role is to offer reliable, compassionate support that complements existing services and helps adults maintain meaningful routines, social connections and an active role in their community.
At Manvers Family Support, we believe that being seen, heard and supported at the right time can prevent crisis. By reducing isolation, promoting healthy routines and supporting participation at every stage of life, we help individuals and families feel supported, valued and connected not managed.
Who We Are

Children, Young People & Family Support
At Manvers Family Support, we provide practical, community-based support to children, young people and families who benefit from additional help to maintain positive routines, access education and engage safely in their communities. Our services are designed to complement existing support by offering hands-on assistance during periods of challenge, transition or increased pressure.
We support families through home-based practical help, community accompaniment and structured support that encourages school attendance, positive use of time and healthy routines. This includes accompanying children and young people to activities, supporting access to sports and leisure opportunities, assisting with morning routines where attendance is a concern, supervising family time and providing flexible babysitting support to help families manage everyday demands.
Our approach is strengths-based, respectful and child-focused. We do not provide teaching, therapy, personal care or regulated childcare. Instead, we work alongside families and local authorities to reduce stress, promote stability and help children and young people feel supported, confident and positively engaged in everyday life.
